Leah Graham earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Buena Vista University in 2015, with licensure in School Counseling, and later obtained her licensure in Mental Health Counseling in 2025. She began her educational journey at Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Family & Consumer Sciences Education & Studies.

Leah spent twelve years teaching and counseling within the public school system before dedicating several years to raising her children and assisting alongside her husband on their family farm. She now provides counseling services in the Cherokee office as well as through telehealth.

Leah works with clients across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults, supporting individuals through concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and matters of faith and spiritual growth. Her approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic modalities while creating a compassionate, supportive environment tailored to each client’s unique needs.

For clients who desire it, Leah offers faith-integrated counseling that combines clinical expertise with a biblically grounded worldview. She is committed to creating a safe and welcoming space where clients can find healing, hope, and meaningful personal growth.

Leah Graham earned her Master’s degree in counseling in 2015, with a licensure in School Counseling, from Buena Vista University.  She later obtained her licensure in Mental Health Counseling in 2025.  Leah began her education at Iowa State University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Family & Consumer Sciences Education & Studies. Leah spent 12 years teaching and counseling in the public school system. She then dedicated several years to raising her and her husband’s children while also assisting on their family farm. She now provides counseling services in the Cherokee office and through telehealth.


Leah works with clients across the lifespan—from children and adolescents to adults—addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and issues of faith and spiritual growth.  Her treatment modalities include aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as Person-Centered Counseling.  For clients who request it, Leah offers faith-integrated counseling, combining clinical expertise with a biblically grounded worldview to create a safe, compassionate space for healing and hope.
